Problematic Gaming

It started as something fun something enjoyable. Its something you are good at. Its problems you can solve, its a place where you feel important, powerful, and competent. Yet, spending time there is starting to cause problems for your life at school, work, and with your family. You know you need to cut down but it is so difficult to do.

You are not alone. Gaming itself is not the issue, its when we game even when we know it is going to cause problems in our life that it creates problems. Our providers are at the cutting edge of research around using games in therapy, and understanding when the hobby can become a problem in your life. Providers will not villainize gaming but will instead look to see what role and impact gaming has on your life and if it is helping you achieve your goals.
