Put Your Debating Skills to the Test with Super Fight!

A collection of cards from Superfight!

Imagine this, a 50 foot Darth Vader, made of paper faces off against the flash, who bottom half is that of a dolphin and can shoot lasers from their eyes. Who will win? In this very silly game where players build and buff their fighters and work to debuff the other fighters at the table you will debate on why your ridiculous fighter will win in the battle presented.

Now in its second printing Super Fight from Grim Rabbit Games, has players build their fighters from cards in their hand. Other players will play potential debuff cards to your fighter, before they know who your fighter will be. In the second edition there are also dice rolls that can change up how your character will be in that round. Each player makes the case for their fighter. Winner is either decided by a single judge, or by popular vote.

The fighters you make are often ridiculous and nothing you might come up with on your own. This game helps with creating creative arguments, debate, and creative problem solving. It is easy to learn and playable while having dinner, well perhaps not dinner as you don’t want to be arguing while eat, but you could. For those wanting to learn how to advocate for themselves playing this game can helpful. If you can make the argument that 100 duck sized terminators can take out Gandalf who is also a super saiyan, then you might also be able to ask for help at work or school.
